It seems that most Melburnians of a certain age have worked at Myer at some time during their career - straight from school, or during the Christmas rush stand out. Today's store is a far cry from its glory days in the 1950s and 1960s - working at Myer in those years made you part of "the Myer family" - there was even an in-house dentist!
